The Big Trip this summer started well with a visit to friends in Charlbury and Uffington.
The main event of this leg of the tour was Fairport Convention’s Cropredy Festival , which despite having been going on more or less every year for about 40 years, we have never quite managed to go to! We put it it right this year at last!
We survived the weekend with no heatstroke in spite of the weatherman’s attempts to toast us to a frazzle! Good sounds, good food, plenty of booze and perfect company – life doesn’t get much better than this!
